Could it be? Another snow day?! YES! God truly is good to the students of GBS
We received word tonight that
because of the layers of ice that coat
everything there will be no school tomorrow. I
can not express to you how much ice is covering
everything. They warned us this afternoon that
if any of our cars are parked under trees we
better move them because the branches are
beginning to break. It is absolutely treacherous
to go down the ramp to the dining hall! In fact,
one student simply sat down and without any
pushing glided down. There are also 60,000
people in Cincinnati without power! I pray that
it doesn't hit us! Well, tomorrow will be yet
another day of homework that I still didn't get
caught up on today. It's a vicious cycle. If
you're in this storm stay inside, and stay safe.

Snow Day!

Is it true? Could my prayers have been answered?! YES! It is a snow day! I NEEDED a snow day! Although it would probably be more appropriate to call it an ice day. We are receiving a lot of rain here in Cincinnati that is already enveloping the trees in ice. It is absolutely beautiful! It's supposed to continue till around 7:00 P.M. from what I'm told. However, the day will pretty much be spent on all the back homework and current homework I still need to do. I was able to get a decent amount of sleep last night which I am very grateful for! Well, back to Doctrine of Holiness notes!

P.S. If any of you photographers were wondering how I took my camera out into the pouring rain, I took a garbage bag, ripped a hole for the lens and a whole for the viewfinder, and wallah, a weather proof container.
It...Is...COLD!

I was told that it would be cold outside, but, come on! This cold?! The SWSE (band) was supposed to go out today using the bus, but when they woke up this morning they found that the brake lines on the bus had frozen solid! They were forced to load everyone, and everything, into a caravan of vans. What an experience! It is definitely "bone chilling" cold in Cincinnati today! As you'll notice the fountain has literally inches of ice on it. It does make for good ice skating though! I trust you're staying warm!
