Return from Alabama

We just got back from a weekend preaching trip in Alabama around 5:15am. I was awake for most of the trip, and rode shotgun to keep Kenny awake as he drove the last leg of the trip. It was a good weekend. The Lord helped, and it was a lot of fun. Will post more when, 1) I get some sleep 2) I get caught up on homework 3) I have time 4) I get the pictures sorted 5) I get everything put away 6) They give us a free day off of school, just for fun...yea.

Dazed...

It has been a very, very busy few weeks. The Christmas play is now over (which is kinda sad), I survived preaching in the annual service held at GBS during the weekend of the Christmas play. Now it's time to focus on homework. I admit, from where I stand right now, it looks literally impossible to get it all done, and I may not, but I know that the same God Who was faithful to help me through last week is still walking right by my side this week as well. The pictures are of my in the Christmas play, in which I played the statue (I was a walking, talking statue when I wasn't frozen in place). It was so much fun! The gray color was a mixture of face paint, gray stage hairspray, and makeup. It took about 3 hours to put on every night, and about 30-40 minutes to take off. The removal process involved scrubbing my face and hair about 4 times thoroughly with shampoo. Then using special makeup remover around my eyes. The Lord was faithful to the cast, choir, and orchestra, and the play went very well. For more details and pictures see my Facebook. Will post more when I have time.

Weekend at My Grandparents

It was arranged several weeks ago for me to preach at a youth service that was to be held at my grandparents chuch (Voice of Victory) in Waynesfield, OH. It really snuck up on me, and Thursday afternoon I was in Mr. Craven's office with a pleading look in my eye asking for his assistance. He was gracious enough to lend me aid, for which I am grateful! So, Megan and I left Saturday morning to go meet my grandparents and three cousins at an ice skating arena near Dayton. We skated there for around 1 1/2 hours before going to a Krispy Kreme donut shop for a treat. We then departed with my grandparents back to their house. Saturday night was spent talking and preparing for tomorrow. Sunday morning came soon enough. To briefly summarize it, it went...ok...not good, not a train wreck, just ok. We then had a good dinner before heading back to GBS, arriving around 5:00. It was a very good weekend, and I am glad I went.
